Chronoswiss Perpetual Black
Chronoswiss is a German watch manufacturer based in Munich. The company was founded by Gerd R. Lang in 1983. They are a small manufacturer, producing under 10,000 replica watches per year. Every component of the timepiece is manufactured and refined in Switzerland and then hand-assembled in Germany.
Now, Perpetual Calendar collection of the Chronoswiss, has been join by a new menber-Chronoswiss Perpetual Black.This new Chronoswiss watch features a 40mm case in 18k white gold and a black dial.
Inside is the self-winding C.127 caliber with a 40-hour power reserve. It beats at 21,600 vph. Based on the classic Enicar 165 caliber and elaborated with a Debois-Depraz calendar module comprising some 50 individual components of its own, this mechanism keeps track of the day, date and month and leap year, correcting its calendar indications as needed, with no user intervention.
The dial layout is simple, four subdials show the calendar information and moonphases, and the three central hands display the time. At 12 o’clock (months), at 9 o’clock (days), at 3 o’clock (dates) and at 6 o’clock (moon phases). The three central hands show seconds, minutes and hours. Roman numerals are used to mark the hours.
And the Chronoswiss Perpetual Black has a retail price of $34,600.
